Tensions are high at my school. Not only is there the pressure of waiting to hear back from colleges, lucky for me I got into my ED school woohoo!, but there are also the tensions of spreading rumors of girl X hooking up with boy Y at Z party along with much more petty drama and rumors. There is always that group of girls who think they know the truth in the gossip but end up spreading the completely wrong news. Does anyone fact check anymore?! Gossiping has been getting on my nerves recently. Why burn bridges when we only have one semester left in our high school careers? It just doesn’t make sense to me anymore. I have given up on holding grudges and spreading rumors and gossip. I mean it’s not like I’m going to see much of these people once I move to NYC to start the best years of my life in college and beyond. It’s time to forgive and forget.
